What’s in my Travel Makeup Bag:
MAKEUP BAG
Muji Makeup Bag – Mine is the older version than the one I’ve linked here, but they’re all very similar. I’ve also linked two popular styles on Amazon. I love these kinds of makeup bags with a sturdy shape and a zipper. Everything fits securely inside, and with the handle, it is easy to carry it around.
SKIN PREP
BASE MOISTURIZER :
Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base Priming Moisturizer – This is my pot of gold, and it stays in my travel makeup bag at all times. It’s got the most heavenly soothing scent and rich texture. I love to prep my skin with this before makeup, especially in the morning because of how thick and moisturizing it is.
FACE PRIMER:
I have two and alternate depending on my mood, and they’re both great options. I’m someone who gets quite oily on the forehead and touches my face a lot, so a face primer is a must for me. If I forget, the Bobbi Brown base moisturizer does a great job at keeping my makeup in place as well.

REN Clean Skincare Perfect Canvas Clean Primer
SUNSCREEN:
Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40 PA+++
Shiseido Urban Environment Oil-free UV Protector Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 42
TINTED MOISTURIZERS & FOUNDATIONS
TINTED MOISTURIZERS:
NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 – I love the coverage and color this gives. Most days, I just need a light layer to even out my skin tone, and this is super easy to just slab on with my fingers and go.
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 – Oil Free – This is another great tinted moisturizer option that I love. It comes second in my list after the NARS for only one reason: the finish is not as thin. What I mean here is that the NARS one looks a bit more invisible and skin-like.
FOUNDATIONS:
Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation – This foundation has a medium to full buildable coverage. I’ve got the perfect match, and with baking, it is full coverage and looks great in photos.
Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Perfect Glow Flawless Oil-Free Foundation – This foundation is my all-time favorite, and I have never come across anything that is this good. My skin looks incredible in person and in photos, plus it lasts on me all day.

Mac Lip Pencils – I sometimes just use these Mac lip liners as lipsticks because they don’t dry out my lips and stay on for so long. I have a bunch of these from nude to red. Highly recommend!
LIQUID LIPSTICKS:
KVD Beauty Everlasting Liquid Lipstick. Color: Nahz Fur Atoo
Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick. Color: Makin’ Moves
HAIR POMADE & SPRAY
OUAI Matte Pomade – I love this hair pomade, especially on freshly washed short hair. I use it mostly at the ends of my hair to add texture, and it’s mess-free and convenient to travel with.
Kenra Volume Spray Hair Spray 25 – I love this Kenra hair spray. It provides the perfect naturally beachy look without weighing my hair down. And the travel size makes it easy to travel with!
BRUSHES & TOOLS
I only have a few favorite makeup brushes and sponges, and they’re all listed here. When packing for trips, I always make sure to pack at least a sponge, at least 3 eye brushes (a small fluffy brush and a medium-sized brush for blending shadows), a brow brush, and two face brushes (one for powder and one for blush).
beautyblender Pro Sponge – This sponge is a cult favorite, and I’m pretty sure you all own at least one of these. It’s soft, multi-functional, and high quality.
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge – I love using the flat side of this sponge to bake. It’s sturdy and great to carve out straight lines along the sides of the nose and cheekbones.
BROW BRUSH:
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brush #12 – This is to use with brow pomade and brow powder. I love how sturdy the bristles are, and the spoolie end works great at dispersing the product and make it natural-looking.
Sigma E15 Flat Definer Brush – I love to underline my brows using this brush and a tiny bit of the NARS concealer.
EYE BRUSHES:
Sigma E33 Detail Diffused Crease Brush
Sigma E27 Detail Blending Brush
BLUSH BRUSH:
For blush brush, the only brush that I’ve come across is the Milk x Sephora collection that has been discontinued, unfortunately. I usually just use my bronzer brush to apply powdered blush and will reach for this specific dense blush brush for cream blushes.
BRONZER BRUSH:
SEPHORA COLLECTION PRO Blush Brush #93 – Yes, this is named a blush brush, but I use it to apply powdered bronzer on the sides of my cheeks and at the rim of my face and jawline.
Tweezerman Slant Tweezer – I cannot stress enough the importance of packing along with a tweezer when traveling. It’s come in handy for me for countless of occasions and emergency hair remover situations. I also need a tweezer to put on fake lashes properly, so a tweezer is a must for me!
