Frequently Asked Questions
My name is An Trieu. I’m the blogger behind this blog that you’re reading, Style & Senses.
‘What do you do for work right now?
I’m currently blogging, creating digital content, managing all of my social media, and running all the business aspects behind it.
‘What are your top 3 favorite outfits you’ve ever worn?’
‘What inspires you the most when styling your outfits?’
I style my outfits around new clothing pieces that I’ve acquired. New pieces that inspire new looks for me could just be a simple tank top or a thrift find. Most of the time though, it depends on how I feel that day. I look up for the weather, think of where I’ll be, what I’ll be doing, and who I get to see that day to style my outfit. I change out 10 times in the morning to make sure I wear clothes that I FEEL the most me that day. Otherwise, it’s a bad and uncomfortable day for me. My closet consists of lots of basics and pieces that I often reach for, so it makes styling an outfit a lot easier I find.
‘If you could choose any jobs you want, what would it be?
I knew from day 1 of my blogging journey that I wanted to run my own business making or creating something. It’s a long way to get there, but with blogging, I am building a foundation and an audience base while learning about the business side of things.
‘Where is the next place that you want to visit?’
Canada, especially British Columbia first when the border is open. Vietnam to visit my family since it’s been a decade since I last visit them, Japan, and Europe, of course!
‘Where do you often go shoot in Seattle?”
I have a blog series, called ‘Best Outdoor Photoshoot Locations in Seattle‘.
‘Where do you draw inspiration from?’
Nature, art, design, and people’s stories.
‘Why did you start Style & Senses?’
I knew I wanted to blog years ago when I was finishing college. I love the idea of working from home and the ability to do everything that I want. I don’t like sticking to a schedule nor do I like to follow rules, so blogging gives me that freedom and opportunities to be creative.
‘When did you move to Seattle?
In the fall of 2017.
If you’re looking for a small road trip and a coastal getaway from Seattle, let me suggest a two-night stay at the Inn At Discovery Coast in Long Beach, Washington.
I have been working with Mejuri as an affiliate partner since 2017. I have my own affiliate link, and you’d be able to get 10% if this is your time purchasing.
