about Isabel Marant
Isabel Marant is a French designer, and her eponymous brand was founded in 1994. It is known for its chic bohemian effortless-Parisian vibe. In 1999, she launched Isabel Marant Étoile with a focus on reworked classic Isabel Marant pieces but for a younger audience. Think of it as a diffusion line. Étoile means a star in French. I do have a few Isabel Marant pieces, and they are my closet staples for years.Review Isabel Marant Black Lecce Belt
Isabel Marant Lecce Belt is a belt that is essentially just a piece of leather with a tab-slot fastening. She does it in black, white, khaki, brown, and even snake print. The leather belt is made in Italy.Sizing:
I am a 25 in the waist, and mine is in size Small (75 cm). I use it to cinch in the waist of high-waisted trousers and sometimes dresses. My Thoughts:
Initially, it did take me a few trials to get it looped correctly at first, and I had to pull up a picture of it online to figure out where and how to fasten it. But after a few times, I could easily do it without any help now. What I love about this black belt is the looping knot-look and how versatile it is. The design is so simple yet sleek and timeless. The end result is a unique knot that is statement-making yet subtle enough to be paired with so many different outfits.Styling Tips
I’ve been wearing it higher at the smallest part of my waist over dresses and use it to belt blazers. However, my go-to styling trick is to just wear it as a normal waist belt on almost all of my high-waisted trousers. It adds a unique, subtle yet statement-making touch to any simple and plain outfits, perfect for my style and what I look for in a piece of accessory. You’d be surprised as to how much a little belt like this can do to an outfit, and below are some outfit pairings to give you some ideas.OUTFIT 1:
