November is here, and that means the holiday season is upon us! To help ease your (shopping) stress, I want to put up some shopping recommendation blog posts in the next few weeks, so be sure to check back often!

In today’s post, I am sharing with you my recent pickups from DICK’S Sporting Goods including some exciting cold-weather things that DICK’S has to offer this season.

Disclaimer: This post is made in collaboration with DICK’S Sporting Goods. Some products worn and mentioned in this post are bought with DICK’S store credit. All opinions are my own.

about DICK’s Sporting Goods

As you may or may not know, I do have a Brand Focus series on my blog where I cover the brand’s history and highlight their products.

DICK’S Sporting Goods is the largest sporting goods retailer in the US. The company was founded by Richard “Dick” Stack in 1948 and is based in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania.

DICK’S Sporting Goods has been one of my favorite retailers to shop for outdoorsy clothing and equipment for years. They carry a wide variety of products from great brands such as Patagonia, Nike, Yeti, Keen, Adidas, Danner, I love their huge retail presence in many states, and luckily, I live near two stores in Seattle. I’ve bought some of the items featured in this post online and also gone in-store to pick up some other things.

DICK’S carries a wide variety of women, men, and youth’s apparel, footwear, and gears for any occasion whether it’s indoors or outdoors. When it comes to the outdoors, quality, and functionality matter the most! I feel like with my years of shopping and how passionate I am with making sure everyone dresses and looks best, I am able to pick out great items from DICK’S that I am super excited to share. Hope this will inspire you to stop by a local DICK’S store and pick up something for yourself and your loved ones, especially with the holiday season coming up.

DICK’S Private Labels

DSG is a DICK’S private label brand that offers performance clothing with size ranges from XXS to XXL in Men’s, Women’s, and Youth. 1% of purchases give back to The DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation to support youth sports.

DICK’S also owns and operates Golf Galaxy and Field & Stream specialty stores.

One-Hour Curbside Pickup

DICK’S offers one-hour curbside or in-store pickup for any online orders. Just select your items and choose to pick up at your nearby store. Make sure to check for an email confirmation and when it is ready to pick up.

Below are what I’ve picked up for the cold weather season coming up. Thanks, Dick’s for the gifts.

1. Patagonia Women’s Pack-In Insulated Jacket

Patagonia is by far my most favorite brand when it comes to outdoorsy clothing.

Known for their sustainable practices, the Ventura, California–based company is also known for their lifetime warranty program, Ironclad Guarantee. I love Patagonia branding and their focus and commitment to making great products that truly last.

This Patagonia Pack-in Insulated jacket that I’ve picked up from DICK’S instantly becomes my favorite. I’ve hiked up to the mountains this past weekend, and it efficiently keeps me so warm. I love that is lightweight, soft, and packable into a small zipped pouch (left pocket doubles as a stuff sack). It’s got two huge front pockets which double-up as hand warmers, and I especially am a big fan since my hands get cold quite easily. I also appreciate small details such as its slightly stretchy fabric at the collar, hem, cuffs, and center front as well as the longer hem in the back for extra coverage.

Overall, it’s such a great buy, and I am sure it will be on heavy rotation for me this fall/winter season and many more. Did I mention that I will be wearing it casually, on the hike, and even to work? Love a multi-tasking product!

2. Danner Women’s Mountain 600 4.5” Suede Waterproof Hiking Boots

These Danner Mountain 600 boots have been on my wishlist for months. I was debating whether I should get the full-grain leather one, not suede, since it will for sure last me longer. However, I decided on the yellow color in suede because I wanted to add more yellow pieces to my outdoorsy collection. They are comfortable out of the box and fit true to size. I got the color Sand in my size 7.5.

Do go for the full-grain leather upper pair if you want something that will for sure stand the test of time. After a hike this past weekend, I seriously am questioning how long my suede pair will last because they do look like they’ve taken a real beat after just one hike. By the way, I did a difficult hike to Mount Ellinor. I’m happy to report that no blisters, no toe pain, and they look just as stunning in person and in photos. You will most likely see me wearing these on the trail and in the city because they look so cute and are so comfortable.

SPECS & FEATURES:

  • Waterproof Danner® Dry liner (moisture wicking)

  • Waterproof suede upper

  • Vibram® SPE midsole made of EVA and natural and synthetic rubber (rebound, comfort and support)

  • MegaGrip® outsole compound (grip on wet and dry surfaces)

  • Manufacturing: imported

3. Nike One Women’s Tights

Can you believe that I don’t own any Nike leggings until now? I’m so glad I’ve given these Nike One leggings a try because they are amazing! Mine is in the color Dark Beetroot size XS.

The fabric is so thin and stretchy, and the closest comparison that I can think of is the FLOAT fabric from Girlfriend Collective. The Girlfriend FLOAT leggings are made from 90% recycled plastic bottles (RPET) and 10% spandex while these Nike One leggings are made from 83% polyester and 17% spandex.

They have similar stretchiness, a similar buttery feel, opaque, and extremely form-flattering.

SPECS & FEATURES:

  • Dri-FIT® technology helps you stay dry and comfortable

  • Fabric : 83% polyester / 17% spandex

  • Manufacturing: imported

4. YETI 30 oz. Rambler Tumbler with MagSlider Lid

I am an official YETI convert thanks to this 14 oz.  YETI rambler mug! After giving the 14 oz. rambler a proper try, I knew I needed to stop by DICK’S to pick up a larger size that fits my cold brew.

If you know me, I do road trips pretty frequently, and Starbucks is where I always make sure to stop by. This 30 oz. fits a Starbucks Venti perfectly, and the ice lasts until the end of the night. I’ve used it every day ever since, and it does such an outstanding job at keeping my iced coffee cold and hot coffee hot for an entire day. Impressive!

The thick clear plastic lid fits snuggly and securely at the opening, and it feels nice at the mouth opening, too. I also appreciate the opening which fits a small straw nicely, too!

Besides mugs, DICK’S Sporting Goods has a plethora of YETI products from coolers to backpacks, and I can guarantee you will love your YETI just as much as I do. I will be buying a few of these for my family members. I also recommend getting a Hydro Flask, and my favorite is the 24 oz. bottle with a slimmer profile and a convenient handle, convenient to travel with. I bring mine on the plane because it fits the size of my backpack as well as convenient to get a drink refill.

Who doesn’t need a cup that works amazing at keeping cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot and fits snuggly in hands and cup holders of a car or boat? Plus, it makes a great unisex gift for any of your friends and loved ones this coming holiday season.

SPECS & FEATURES:

  • DuraCoat™ Color Technology (no chipping, fading, or cracking)

  • 18/8 Kitchen-grade stainless steel durable construction

  • Double-wall vacuum insulation

  • No Sweat™ Design (keeps hands and cup dry)

  • MagSlider™ Lid uses magnets for easy opening and closing and keeps beverage cold/warm longer

5. Pelican 20 Quart Elite Cooler

I have been eyeing the Pelican 20 quart Elite Cooler since last year. I want something that fits right behind my seat in the car, sleek, durable, and functional for road trips. And I’ve got one!

After tons of research and going out to look for a cooler that fits my needs, Pelican is the perfect brand. Pelican offers a Lifetime Guarantee, something other makers do not or cannot do.
