If you know me, you’d probably know I’m always a yes girl when it comes to quality basics and essential pieces that I can wear for years to come. Organic Basics is a Danish brand with a value and design approach that I stand with.

As suggested by the title, I’m going to share with you my thoughts on the Silvertech Active set that I have. If you’re new and unfamiliar with Organic Basics, I’ve written a Brand Focus post. Read my review on their Tencel bra and underwear set.

REVIEW:

SilverTech Sports Bra has the most versatile and comfortable fit, and the SilverTech leggings fit me like a glove.

My first reaction when putting on this set was just an overall wow, like these are made for me and my body. They both go on so easily and fit me in all of the right places. The seamless knitting on the garments hugs and curves around my body so nicely and smoothly. It just feels good and looks flattering on. In addition, the hem on the legs stops right at my ankles, and there is no extra or loose fabric hanging. Personally, I’d wish the legging would be a tad bit higher at the waist, but other than that, no complaint!

Although I no longer wear push-up bras, I’m a 32B in most traditional bras (like those from Victoria Secret and Calvin Klein). I’d opt for a comfortable no push-up no underwire bralette or a simple sports bra like this any day. Since I work from home these days, I can just go on the day wearing this sports bra alone.

So far I’ve washed these pieces only once after wearing them on a sweaty hike. Besides that, they stay fresh and cool for a very long time.

If you’re looking for something different, do give these SilverTech pieces a try! I feel like the closes thing that I have in my collection that reminds me of these is this Lululemon Swiftly Tech which features Silverescent technology that inhibits odor-causing bacteria on the fabric. Same or similar concept and I do get the same vibe when wearing these pieces and that Lululemon shirt. These are the type of clothes that I love and think more people should know about them.

Lastly, if you want to invest in ethically made and quality basics and invest in a sustainable company, Organic Basics is the brand that I wholeheartedly recommend. Everything I own from them has been excellent and does live up to the hype. Worth every penny!

Lastly, please note that I have the leggings on backward as the Organic Basics logo should have faced the front. I didn’t even notice that until I took them off after that day. Hope you’ve found this blog post helpful.
