Spring of 2019, I wrote a blog post about the Best 5 Items to Buy at Everlane, and lots of you seem to enjoy it. So if you ever purchase anything from my blog (by clicking through any links), thank you. Today, my Best 5 Everlane picks post is back by popular request.
Please note that some of the items marked with ‘ * ‘ were gifted to me, but I got to hand-pick them all from brands in an exchange of product linking here on my blog or social media. All of this does not change my opinions since you know I am a big fan of the brand and have purchased tons of things from the brand myself.
For reference, I’m 5ft5 and weigh 110 lbs. I wear tops and dresses size 0-2 or XS-S, jeans size 25, and shoes size 7.5.
1. The Cotton-Linen Blazer
Available in 6 colors. $145
Color: Sandstone
Fabric/Material & Care: 40% Linen, 38% Lyocell, 22% Cotton – Dry clean
Made in: Nanchong, China
Fit: Relaxed fit. I’m wearing a size 2.
Review: This blazer has got to be one of the best spring and summer blazers that I have in my blazer collection thus far. The cotton-linen-lyocell blend is lightweight, and it gives the blazer an effortless feel. I’m glad I’ve picked out this sandstone color because it looks fresh and is perfect for the warmer weather.
The easiest way to style a blazer without looking too done-up is to simply pair it with a classic white top and blue jeans. A cotton T-shirt will always be my first choice, but here I’ve taken the look up a notch by stying it with a form-fitting bodysuit. Tips to look more put together is to keep your proportion in mind. I have a looser blazer, hence my base layer must be fitted. Remember, looser on top and fitted on the bottom, and vice versa.
I’m sure this blazer will come in handy in the summer since it always gets cold at night!

2. The Court Sneaker
Core collection from TREAD by Everlane available in 6 colors & Gumsole in 3 colors. $98
Color: White
Fabric/Material & Care: Upper: 100% Full-grain leather from Saigon TanTec, a Gold-Certified tannery. – Spot clean with water and mild soap.
Made in: Thai Binh, Vietnam
Sizing: True to size. I am a 7.5 and wear the Court in size W 7.5. These are unisex and available in men’s sizes.
Review: I own a few Italian made leather shoes from Everlane like the Modern Day Mule in white and the Day Boot in ecru, and I absolutely am a fan. For years, I only trust leather shoes from Italy since they tend to be better made and last me longer. Recently, with the big sustainability movement and tons of companies are making effort in recycling and upcycling materials, I am more open with other options.
The Court Sneaker, designed for every destination, is a truly versatile pair. I own a pair of Reebok with a pretty similar silhouette and style, and I’ve reached for them so often. So as expected, I am pleased to have the Court now. The leather is surprisingly soft and so comfortable, and I certainly skip weather socks most days. It’s got a slim profile and soft but durable leather upper. I’m obsessed with the tennis shoe style at the moment, and the white color literally goes with everything!
All shoes from TREAD are made from less waste, less energy, and less virgin plastic compared to the similar shoes of its kind. Plus, Everlane offsets the emissions they couldn’t eliminate, so please read more about TREAD from Everlane, here.

3. The Lightweight Wide Leg Crop Chino
Available in 7 colors. $72
Color: Light Sage
Fabric/Material & Care: 98% Cotton, 2% Elastane. – Machine wash cold with like colors, tumble dry low
Made in: Jiangmen, China
Fit: High-waisted and slightly flared out at the hem. I’m wearing these size 00. So size down!
Review: Everlane makes great high-waisted trousers, and to my experience, they all tend to run slightly big. This specific lightweight chino pair is my most favorite wide-leg trousers that I have in my trouser collection. I think the sage color is perfect. The cotton fabric is breathable and lightweight, and the 2% elastane gives them a bit of stretch. I love that they are so high-waisted, and the hem hits me a sweet perfect spot. In addition, the fit is also perfect for my frame. Since I have slightly chunkier thighs, these do actually flatter my figure so well regardless of the fact that they are wide-legged.
I love pairing these trousers with white, cream, or pastel yellow since they bring such a great happy spring-summer vibe. Here I’ve paired them with a simple white tee tucked in, same outfit photo styled last summer but I’d totally wear this outfit again in a heart beat. In-depth review, here.

4. The Cashmere Crew
Available in 15 colors. $100
Color: Dark navy
Fabric/Material & Care: Body: 100% Cashmere; Trimmings: 90% Cashmere, 9% Nylon, 1% Elastane. – Dry clean
Made in: Dongguan, China
Fit: Fitted, so size up one or two sizes for a relaxed fit. I’m wearing a size M.
Review: This cashmere crewneck sweater is so soft, lightweight, and warm. It is lightweight and easy to wear tucked into trousers and jeans. I wore it a lot to work and even on weekends when I was out and about shopping.
I love that the navy is on a darker side, very close to a black and make an all-black outfit (styled below) more interesting to look at. Size Medium fits me perfectly oversized, and I love that the sleeves are long and can be worn cuffed/folded or uncuffed.
Please note that this cashmere crew sweater pills. Mine does after a few wears especially noticeable on the sleeves caused by constantly rubbing, but the pilling is minimal. I’d recommend you to pick up a fabric shaver as it does such a great job at removing pills on fabric surfaces and is totally safe on delicate fabric like cashmere.

5. The Organic Cotton Box-Cut Pocket Tee
Available in 7 colors. $18
Color: Artichoke
Fabric/Material & Care: 100% Organic Cotton. – Machine wash cold, tumble dry low

Fit: Relaxed fit. I’m wearing size M.
Review: This T-shirt is a part of the GOTS Certified Organic Tee Collection featuring a crew cut and pocket detail. It truly is a classic with timeless shape, and for $18, it’s the best overall t-shirt that I own. It’s not too long nor too short, and the lightweight fabric makes it easy to tuck in. I’d totally pick up 3 tees of different colors and sizes to alternate.
GOTS stands for The Global Organic Textile Standard is the material certifying process that companies like Everlane use to make sure the highest organic cotton standards. Besides these 5 items mentioned, I do want to give Everlane underwear, especially the triangle bra, and everything from the Pima Micro Rib range a shout out because I’ve reached for them non-stop. I don’t have any photos of me wearing them, unfortunately, but I swear they are my favorite wardrobe-essentials. For the price and the quality you’re getting, I don’t think there are better alternatives when it comes to classic basics.

I know Everlane has recently been through a tough time with the recent layoff and union bursting accusation. Retails have really suffered, and as a creative, I also have to take the furlough step and not having work during this time. I do not take things personally nor get offended easily by things when I am not in someone else’s shoes, so I hope that you do the same. Please know I am staying informed while trying my best to support brands that I love when possible. So as always, please take care, and I hope that this blog post gives you some ideas to help you make better-informed decisions with your money.
