Hi, it’s An, and welcome back to Style & Senses!
I’m back with a 3-part Visual Diary, sharing some of my favorite photos from our 10-day trip visiting Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Amsterdam early September of 2025 (9/2 – 9/12/2025).
If you’re interested in knowing my exact 10-day itinerary, I’ve shared it on my weekly Substack newsletter, An’s List, below:

FOOD SPOTS, CAFES & BAKERIES

One of my favorite breakfasts in CPH was at Lille Bakery, worth the trek! – also check out Juno the Bakery for the world’s famous cardamom bun (it’s my #1 favorite that I’ve tried, La Cabra’s and Fabrique’s version come second and third on my list!)

Other coffee spots I love in CPH are bakeries and cafes that serve food: Original Coffee, La Cabra, Atelier September, Juno Bakery, Lille Bakery, etc.

Incredible seafood dinner at Kødbyens Fiskebar

For bars, I went to Mikkeller Bar for some incredible local beer on tap and got a few glasses at a food court while waiting for my dinner at Barr. Go to Barr for the Schnitzel, slightly more posh dining + reservation, and Cleo if you’re looking for a wine bar with creative small plates to share. They both have great natural wine lists!
-
The best ice cream spots in CPH: Ismageriet, Isoteket
-
Other food spots I love and recommend: Poulette – fried chicken sandwich, go before 5 pm to make sure they still have it (Yes, they were sold out the first time I went. I had to go back the second time! And yes, it’s the perfect fried chicken sandwich, met all of my standards and expectation!), Amator – super cute interior, really good omelette and toast, go with a girlfriend or someone who likes to brunch and chill.
-
For Asian food, we only had noodle soups at Cholon. My pho was mid, but the location was central and convenient, great for a quick lunch stop.
-
Fast food is HUGE in CPH! Burgers at Gasoline Grill were fantastic! Phago does quick and easy Greek-style wraps, salads, and sides. There are also a ton of food courts and food carts all over the city, and you should try them out!
-
Traditional Danish food we missed out: Danish smørrebrød at Restaurant Schønnemann – if walking in, go early! Otherwise, reserve it in advance!

LIÉ STUDIO – also check out TEKLA & TOTEME next door

mfpen – also check out La Cabra, Another Aspect, & STOY store on Møntergade at the heart of CPH’s fashion district
