Well maintained and extremely popular hike. Mostly on boardwalk and some parts are rocky and muddy.
Mountain range, alpine meadows, sun and moon, snow and fog, wild animals, and extreme crowds. So hike early!
Sturdy hiking shoes are highly recommended. Bring extra layer in case it gets chilly due to high elevation.
From the Overlook, you can hike down to the lake. Watch out for bear activity as the trail might be temporarily closed.
Learn about bear safety and hike with bear spray. Watch from a safe distance, make loud noises, and do not run.
Parking lot, located at Logan Pass, fills up very quickly, so arrive early or later in the afternoon.
