Hug Point State Recreation Site is a 7-minute drive, 4.6 miles South of Cannon Beach. Highly recommend going at low tide to view the sea caves, waterfalls, and tide pools.

Classic stop when in Pacific City, Oregon. Stay at Headlands, grab a beer at Pelican Brewing, walk the beach, hike up the sand dune, and explore the local town on a bike.

State day-use park in Otter Rock, central Oregon Coast, a popular whale watching site. It's a giant hollow rock formation with waves that constantly churns, foams, and swirls.

The hike down to the beach is steep but short (1.1 mi) and fun. With a large natural rock arch, unique cliff-sides, sand dunes, viewpoints are incredible everywhere you turn.
